Lloyds College Accounting Qualifications

Accounting is extensively use in every firm at Lloyds College we designed the course which suits you and gain advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of accounting and finance. Accounting is the process by which financial information about a business, organization or individual is recorded, classified, summarized, interpreted and communicated. Drawing from fields such as information technology, law, statistics, business and economics, accounting is a multidisciplinary subject that focuses on an organization or individual’s economic activities.

Learners completing these qualifications will fully understand what is to be expected from a professional accountant at work and be able to produce and interpret a wide range of financial information and accounts.

Progression Routes

On successful completion of Accounting qualifications there are a number of progression opportunities.

Learners may progress to:

  • Employment or have increased opportunities for progression in their current role
  • A higher level qualification e.g. from the Level 4 Extended Diploma in Accounting to the Level 5 Extended Diploma in Accounting
  • A Master’s top-up degree in an accounting and finance-related subject
  • Accounting qualifications can also be studied as part of the progression route to gain professional membership of the Institute of Financial Accountants through the IFA Direct Programme.
